Welcome to the website of Turning Leaf Photography, based in the Somerset/Wiltshire border near Bath, owned and run by Paul Meldrum.

I found my passion for photography at an early age and continued to enjoy my art whilst working as a healthcare professional. My desire to be creative led to a change in career to become a full time photographer where I have continued to develop my natural and modern style of photography.

I have found that working in surroundings which are familiar to my clients, achieves a more informal, relaxed photosession where all are comfortable. This is why I prefer to work on location in natural light rather than the confinement of a studio setting.

Being a father, I understand how co-operative, or not, young children can be. My relaxed and unobtrusive approach enables me to photograph children and young people having fun in their most natural environments, capturing the true enjoyment of being young and memories that so quickly fade.
